John Hess

John (JD) Hess is an accomplished aviation and logistics professional with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Executive Aviation and Logistics and Chief Helicopter Pilot at The Kraft Group & Affiliates since June 2019, John also held various key positions at the U.S. Coast Guard from August 1997 to July 2019, including Chief of the Boston Rescue Coordination Center and Pilot-in-Command of the MH-60T Sikorsky Helicopter. Throughout this tenure, John demonstrated expertise as a Flight Examiner and Standardization Officer for multiple helicopter models, as well as serving in critical operational roles such as a Law Enforcement boarding officer and heavy weather coxswain.
