Kate F. is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Senior Communications Officer at The Kresge Foundation since January 2019, where responsibilities include leading strategic communications and media relations for national Health and Human Services Program teams. Previously, Kate held the position of Communications Director at the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York, developing comprehensive communication strategies across two regions. Kate's earlier roles include Communications Manager at the same foundation, Assistant Professor at Erie Community College teaching Risk Communication, and Public Information Officer. Kate's career began as Editor of the Cheektowaga Bee, and Kate holds an M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications and a B.A. in Journalism/Mass Communications from St. Bonaventure University.
