Wendye Mingo

Chief Technology Officer at The Kresge Foundation

Wendye Mingo has a range of experience in managing information technology systems and infrastructure. Wendye worked as the Managing Director of Information Technology at The Kresge Foundation starting in 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC from 2010 to 2017, first as an Infrastructure Manager and then as an IT Systems Manager. In these roles, they oversaw various aspects of the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, databases, and disaster recovery. Wendye also led projects such as system upgrades, data center migrations, and cost reduction initiatives.

Wendye Mingo has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Detroit. Wendye also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Computer Science from Wayne State University. In addition, Wendye has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Instructional Technology, also from Wayne State University. Apart from their degrees, they have obtained a certification in Equity Essentials for Philanthropy Tech from the Technology Association of Grantmakers in January 2023.
