Samuel Chelliah

Samuel Chelliah currently serves as the Vice President of Finance and Controller at The Lakeside Association since March 2021. Prior to this, Samuel held the position of Financial Analyst at ProBank Austin from November 2020 to February 2021. Samuel’s extensive experience includes a tenure as Finance Manager at Falcon Metals Limited from May 2001 to July 2019, where responsibilities encompassed forecasting, planning, management reporting, strategic direction, and financial administration in a $30 million operation. Additionally, Samuel worked as Regional Accounts Manager at Exide Industries Limited from November 1990 to May 2001, focusing on financial control, business plan development, and implementation of SAP. Educational qualifications include a CMA in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Statistics and Politics from Madras Christian College, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the University of Madras.
