Denise Lee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the culinary and hospitality sectors. Presently serving as a Board Member at The Lamb Center since January 2024, Denise has also been the Managing Partner at DDMI Hospitality - SOCIAL BURGER since October 2012, providing business management consulting and financial reviews for food-based operations. Prior roles include Corporate Event Sales at Purple Onion Catering Company, Private Chef at The Diocese of Arlington's Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, and Pastry Chef at The Swiss Bakery and Pastry Shop. Early career experience includes an internship and line cook position at Cafe Bethesda and ownership of two Agua Vida Water Refilling Stations. Denise holds a Culinary Program degree from L'Academie de Cuisine and a BS in Management of Financial Institutions from De La Salle University.

The Lamb Center

The Lamb Center is a daytime drop-in resource center for individuals who are experiencing homelessness in Fairfax, Virginia. We provide breakfast, lunch, showers, laundry service, Bible studies, case management, employment opportunities, housing and job counseling, AA meetings, small group opportunities, nurse practitioner services, a dental clinic, and much more. As a Christian ecumenical community of faith, the Lamb Center works on behalf of all people experiencing poverty or homelessness regardless of race, religion, creed, or any other status. The core values of Christianity are central to the Lamb Center's ministry: loving God with all one’s heart, soul, mind, and strength; and loving one’s neighbors as oneself. Together, our staff, Board of Directors, volunteers, and supporters provide a community of fellowship, support, empowerment, and learning together that grows ever stronger in relationship with our guests.
