Tessa Peters

Tessa Peters is an accomplished professional with a strong background in plant breeding, genetics, and agroecology. Currently serving as the Director of Crop Stewardship at The Land Institute since January 2019, Tessa previously held the position of Research and Education Associate at Organic Seed Alliance from September 2017 to December 2018. Tessa's earlier experience includes working as a Seismic Engineer at Schlumberger from May 2006 to May 2010. Tessa's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and bachelor's degrees in Agroecology from the University of Wyoming and Physics from Colorado State University.
