Jeffery J. MacHat M.D.

Jeffery J. Machat MD has extensive work experience in the field of ophthalmology. Jeffery J. is currently the Medical Director & LASIK Surgeon at The LASIK Vision Institute since June 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Medical Director at Crystal Clear Vision and NVision Eye Centers starting from January 2013. Jeffery J. has also been involved with organizations such as Vision Group USA & Canada as a LASIK Surgeon, Vision Group USA as a Regional Medical Director, and Vision Group Canada as a LASIK Surgeon at TLC and LASIK MD. Moreover, they were the President & Medical Director at Crystal Clear Vision Canada from March 2012 to February 2019. Earlier in their career, they founded and served as the President of Ocular Esthetics from February 2009 to January 2011. In addition, they were a Co-Founder and Medical Director at TLCV from September 1993 to January 2009. Jeffery J. has also held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Optical Express in 2005.

Jeffery J. Machat MD completed their high school education at Newtonbrook High School from 1975 to 1980, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on Mathematics. Following this, they attended the University of Toronto Schools from 1980 to 1990, where they obtained an MD degree specializing in Medicine and Ophthalmology.
