Brita Wahl, CPHR, has extensive experience in human resources management. Brita began their career with ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment in 2001, serving as the Accounting Supervisor at Rogers Arena. Brita then transitioned to the role of Human Resources Manager at Rogers Arena, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2015, Brita worked at Tim Hortons as the Senior Human Resources Manager for Western Canada. Brita joined the Law Society of Alberta in 2016 as the Human Resources Manager and was later promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources in 2019.
Brita Wahl, CPHR, has a strong educational background that includes a Bachelor of Education from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from McGill University. During their time at Simon Fraser University, Brita focused on education with minors in English and French. Similarly, at McGill University, they dedicated their studies to linguistics.
In addition to their academic accomplishments, Brita has also obtained several certifications related to their field. For instance, they are a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), which they obtained in 2019 from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Another noteworthy certification of hers is the CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) credential, which they acquired in 2008 from CPHR Alberta. These achievements reflect Brita's commitment to continuous professional development and demonstrate their expertise in the field of human resources.
