Meryl Friedland

Meryl Friedland is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience spanning various roles in law and legal counsel. Currently serving as Conduct Counsel at the Law Society of Alberta since October 2021, Meryl has previously held positions as a Lawyer at Wolch Wilson Jugnauth and Wolch deWit Watts & Wilson, as well as Legal Counsel - Litigation at Alberta Health Services. Meryl began legal training as a Student-at-Law at Greenspan Humphrey Lavine and has contributed to community services through roles such as Supervisor/Caseworker at Community Legal Services and Community Youth Project Coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada. Meryl's educational background includes a Master of Laws from the University of Calgary, a Juris Doctor from Western University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from the University of Alberta.
