James Morris

James Morris, ChFC®, serves as the Director of Compliance for Producer Activities at AmeriLife since December 2022, and also holds the position of Registered Principal, Registered Representative, and Investment Advisor Representative at The Leaders Group, Inc. since June 2019. With a robust background in compliance, James previously worked at Allianz for over a decade, managing compliance operations for a large network of financial professionals, and held various roles including Compliance Director, Suitability Officer, and Recruiting OSJ Manager. Earlier positions include Compliance Manager at National Planning Corporation and operational roles at Cantella, State Street, and Moors & Cabot. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, Northridge, and has completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) curricula from The American College of Financial Services.
