VP, Global Marketing & Communications at The Leading Hotels of the World

Lauren Alba has been VP, Global Marketing & Communications at The Leading Hotels of the World since July 2014. Prior to that, they served as Senior Manager, Brand Digital and Social Media Marketing at American Express from October 2010 to July 2014. In that role, they oversaw the creation of brand content for the American Express brand across social media channels as well as digital media partnerships. Lauren was also the lead for the digital content creation for the launch of the American Express Everyday credit card, managing agencies and a multi-million dollar budget to create supporting assets for the launch.

Before joining American Express, Lauren was with Coyne PR from June 2006 to October 2010, where they helped open the agency's first satellite office in New York City. At Coyne, they managed traditional and social media initiatives for high-profile clients that included the Harlem Globetrotters, ESPN, the United States Tennis Association, Lifetime Digital and Disney Sports, among others. Additionally, they helped to conceive and lead client programs that were honored with industry recognition that included two Silver SABRE Awards (for best Entertainment PR Campaign), a PRSA Silver Anvil Award of Excellence (for Corporate Reputation Management) and two straight finalist nominations for PR Week’s Arts & Entertainment Campaign of the Year.

Lauren Alba graduated from George Mason University with a BA in Communication.
