Head Teacher at The League of Amazing Programmers

Michael Johnson is currently the Head Teacher at The League of Amazing Programmers. Prior to this, they were a freelance developer from March 2017 to January 2018. Before that, they were the Lead Curriculum Developer at Stemsation from January 2015 to March 2017 where they developed instructional tools and curriculum content for company programs. Michael's first internship was at The MIC Network from February 2013 to June 2013 where they assisted on website development and worked in a team to design architectural and visual elements of a brand new custom website. After their internship, they became a Design Engineer at Half Empty Studios from July 2012 to May 2013 where they created design documents for company projects and functioned as a consultant for overall company management and specific game designs.

Michael Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media and Game Design from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Michael Johnson reports to Keith Groves, Director of Education. They work with Matt Freedman - Head Teacher, Osvaldo Ruiz - Teacher, and Cody Sauer - Head Teacher.
