Matthew Kaser

Matthew Kaser has extensive experience in patent law and academia, currently serving as the Manager and Billing Partner at Bell IP Law, a firm specializing in life sciences and related technologies since its founding in 2003. Kaser is also an active supporter of The Leakey Foundation, focusing on bringing anthropology speakers to US public schools, and currently holds the position of PT Lecturer at California State University East Bay, teaching various biology courses. Additionally, Kaser has held roles such as Director at Scottish Bioenergy Ventures Ltd, where involvement included the commercial production of natural pigments, and Associate Director of the Patent Group at Mendel Biotechnology, leading initiatives to diversify patent portfolios. Educational credentials include a D.Phil. in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and degrees from the University of Wales and Bangor University.
