Lead Movement Instructor at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute

Leah Zhang MFA, AmSAT, CEAS II is a seasoned movement instructor with extensive experience in the Alexander Technique, currently serving as the Lead Movement Instructor at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute since April 2013. In this role, Leah teaches a Movement for Actors class that integrates body mechanics, actor intentions, and the principles of the Alexander Technique, catering to an international student body. Leah also works as the Head Trainer and Posture Specialist at Ergonomic Movement and The Alexander Technique, providing group classes and private lessons to a diverse clientele. Additional teaching experience includes roles as an Alexander Technique Teacher at Santa Monica College and an Ergonomist at UCLA, where Leah focused on reducing ergonomic risks. Leah possesses an MFA from the University of San Diego and an AmSAT Certification from the Alexander Technique Training Institute-Los Angeles, completed in 2011. Prior acting experience includes roles at The Old Globe and Milwaukee Repertory Theater.
