Maria C Byers

Maria C Byers is a seasoned professional in the performing arts, currently serving as Co Artistic Director at Next Generation Theatre since July 2023 and as a Dance and Musical Theater Instructor at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute since May 2019. As Co-Owner of Next Generation Theatre LLC from April 2023 to August 2024, and Director/Choreographer at Young People’s Theater Workshop from January 2008 to August 2024, Byers has a wealth of experience in directing and choreography. Additionally, Maria C Byers worked as a Health Coach at Noom Inc. from January 2019 to January 2023. An alumnus of NYU Tisch, Byers holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Drama, earned between 2009 and 2013.
