Beth Krause is a Supervising Attorney for the Immigrant Youth Project at The Legal Aid Society of NYC since October 2016. Prior to this role, Beth served as a Sole Practitioner from February 2013 to October 2016, representing clients in various family law matters in Bronx Family Court, while also contributing articles and guides to legal self-help websites. From March 2009 to December 2012, Beth worked as a Trial Attorney for The Children's Law Center, advocating for children in custody, domestic violence, and abuse cases. Additional legal experience includes roles as a Research Associate and Law Student at relevant institutions, as well as completing international fellowships in South Africa. Beth holds a JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, a BA in American Studies and Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and further education at Sabanci University.
