Caroline A. King has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Caroline A. is currently working as the Director of Development Operations at The Legal Aid Society since May 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where they held multiple positions. From January 2020 to May 2022, they served as the National Director, Principal and Major Gifts. In this role, they led a team responsible for fundraising $30 million annually. From March 2017 to February 2020, they were the Senior Director of Strategic Operations, Principal and Major Gifts, where they supervised four team leads and managed prospect management, donor stewardship, operations, and corporate fundraising. From August 2014 to March 2017, Caroline served as the Director of the Office of the CDO. Earlier in their career, they worked at American Red Cross, where they held various roles from 2009 to 2014, including Senior Officer, Officer, and Senior Associate. Additionally, they worked at UNICEF USA from 2004 to 2009, starting as an intern and eventually becoming a Manager of Program Funding and Prospect Development.
Caroline A. King pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Archaeology from UCL between 1996 and 1999. Later, they completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Russian, Central European, East European and Eurasian Studies from UCL in the year 2002.
