Irene Jóna Smith

Irene Jiang currently works at AIDVP in Investment Research and Strategy as part of a startup summer Pre-MBA internship sponsored by the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at The University of Chicago. Previously, Irene served as a Senior Consultant at Cloudmed, efficiently identifying $8.5 million in insurance underpayments, and in earlier roles at Triage Consulting Group, increased project profitability by over $7.3 million through extensive revenue audits and SQL-based automation. Irene's background also includes experience in population care management at Kaiser Permanente, where tools and metrics were developed to enhance patient outreach, as well as roles in medical assistance and public health coordination. Irene holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology with a minor in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is pursuing an MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
