Jake Blais

Jake Blais is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in the entertainment and marketing sectors, currently serving as Creative Lead at the LEGO Group since April 2011. In this role, Jake is responsible for ensuring that the ethos of Learning Through Play is integrated into employee engagement initiatives, and leads the creative development of global events like Play Day. Previous positions include Creative Specialist, Senior Art Director for LEGO Star Wars, and Emmy-nominated Creative Producer for various LEGO Star Wars content. Jake has also held roles in technical direction and creative direction at multiple companies, including Vanderweil Engineers and CCR Pyramid Inc. Jake holds an MFA in 3D Animation Modeling from the Academy of Art University and a BA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
