Matt Zabatta is a seasoned engineer with expertise in electronics and microelectronics design. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Electronics at the LEGO Group since October 2024, Matt designs microelectronics solutions to enhance play experiences. Previously, as the Lead Electrical Engineer at Lumafield from January 2022 to September 2024, Matt led the electrical team through the public launch and multiple product design cycles, establishing best practices and mentoring team members. Matt's career at Draper spanned nearly a decade (July 2012 to January 2022), focusing on low-power microelectronic systems and overcoming challenging packaging constraints. Matt holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.
