Michael Thorup

Michael Thorup is a Senior Data Governance Specialist at the LEGO Group, where responsibilities include driving Data Governance initiatives and supporting Data Owners, Stewards, and Governance roles. Prior to this, Michael served as a Sr. Data Quality Specialist at the LEGO Group, establishing a comprehensive Data Quality Programme. Experience also includes working as a Data Governance Manager at Spar Nord Bank, where Michael enhanced enterprise governance maturity, and as an Information Architect at Aalborg University, contributing to the development of a Master Data Management strategy. Michael's education includes a Master of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Information Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Communication from Aalborg University, supplemented by an exchange program at Swinburne University of Technology.
