Patty Gentry

Patty Gentry serves as a Strategy Advisor at VolunteerPro | Tobi Johnson & Associates since October 2023 and as the Director of Volunteer Engagement at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society since April 2023. Previously, Patty held the position of Director of Volunteer Engagement and Mobilization at March of Dimes from March 2019 to January 2023, where responsibilities included developing volunteer engagement strategies and managing a volunteer management system. From January 2008 to March 2019, Patty was employed at Share Our Strength, first as Sr. Manager, Grassroots Advocacy & Youth Engagement, focusing on youth engagement for the Generation No Kid Hungry platform, and later in various roles that included managing culinary events and leading a conference for volunteers. Early career experiences include positions at The Fund for American Studies, assisting with recruitment and program logistics. Patty holds a BA in Business Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from Manchester University and has additional educational experiences at Northern Virginia Community College, Georgetown University, and The Philipp University of Marburg.
