Shannon Sullivan

Shannon Sullivan has had a diverse and successful career in the nonprofit sector. Shannon currently serves as the Vice President of Philanthropic Strategy at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where they are responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies. Prior to this role, Shannon was the Executive Director of the Greater Los Angeles Region, overseeing revenue-generating programs and leading a team of employees and volunteers.

Before joining The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Shannon held the position of Chief Development Officer at Safe Kids Worldwide. During their tenure, they implemented new fundraising initiatives that resulted in a significant increase in revenue. Shannon also collaborated with various teams to enhance the impact of the organization's programs.

Shannon has also held leadership roles at the National Parkinson Foundation, where they focused on engaging corporate donors and developing consumer education programs. Shannon was responsible for strategic development and fundraising efforts at the foundation.

Earlier in their career, Shannon worked as the Director of Development at Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, where they successfully fundraised for the organization's mission of funding brain cancer research. Shannon also served as a Program Officer at the Beaumont Foundation of America and held positions in web initiatives at NetDay and Erate (USAC).

Throughout their career, Shannon has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive revenue growth, cultivate donor relationships, and strategically plan fundraising initiatives.

Shannon Sullivan obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Dartmouth College, attending from 1993 to 1997. Later on, they pursued higher education at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, where they completed their Master's of Business Administration in Finance and Consulting from 2002 to 2006.
