Manal Nida Hussain is a health management consultant at The Lewin Group since July 2020, leading projects for the Department of Health and Human Services focused on federal health programs and program effectiveness analysis. Previously, Manal served as a senior research analyst within the same consulting unit of Optum Serve, contributing to health care and human services policy. Experience includes a research assistant role at BRAC University, where work was centered on sexual and reproductive health rights for people with disabilities in Bangladesh, and as a health access intern at the Nationalities Service Center, providing case management for Spanish-speaking clients. Early career experience involved fieldwork at Yunus Centre analyzing micro-credit benefits. Manal holds a B.A. in International Studies with a Health Studies minor from Bryn Mawr College and has engaged in studies at the School for International Training and The Wharton School.
