Julia Thaxton is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in the arts and fundraising sectors. Currently self-employed as an artist focusing on abstract painting, experimental drawing, and textile design, Julia has exhibited works in Oxford and London. In the realm of fundraising, Julia serves as a Major Gifts Fundraiser for the Liberal Democrats and has held key positions such as Interim Director of Development at Worcester College and Director of Development at Hertford College, University of Oxford, where strategic direction, fundraising, and alumni relations were prioritized. Julia's previous roles also include Trustee for the award-winning Aurora Orchestra and Senior Development Manager for Major Gifts at St John's College, Cambridge, where significant fundraising campaigns were successfully completed.
