Sam O. is an experienced campaign professional currently serving as the Head of Campaigns and Elections for the Liberal Democrats since January 2022, previously holding the position of Campaign Manager for the East of England from February 2020 to January 2022. Prior to this, Sam O. worked as a Campaign Organiser for Cambridge Liberal Democrats and as an Assistant Campaign Organiser for Sheffield Liberal Democrats. Earlier work experience includes a brief tenure at the UK Ministry of Justice, where research supported a response to a Lord's Constitution Committee inquiry, and at the Office of David Blunkett MP, where Sam O. produced press summaries and composed reports. Sam O. holds a Master's degree in Modern Theology and Doctrine and a degree in Theology and Religion from the University of Oxford, as well as a foundational education from Birkdale School.
