John Van Horne is currently the Director Emeritus at the Library Company of Philadelphia. John served as the Director from 1985 to 2014, overseeing all activities of the institution. Prior to their role at the Library Company, John worked as the Editor for the Papers of Benjamin Henry Latrobe project from 1975 to 1995. John holds a PhD in History from the University of Virginia, as well as an MA and Bachelor's degree in History from Princeton University.
