Noah Helman is the Founder and CEO of iMicrobes, which focuses on developing fermentation technology to convert methane and carbon dioxide into valuable chemicals. With extensive experience in metabolic engineering and technology development, Noah has contributed to companies like LS9, Inc. and Renewable Energy Group, where advanced microbial production processes were improved. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, Noah investigated yeast signaling pathways using synthetic biology, while as a Graduate Student at Stanford University, research centered on a novel semiconductor optoelectronic device. Noah holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University and an A.B. in Physics from Harvard University, and has engaged with Y Combinator in 2015.
