Jered Widmer

Jered Widmer is a seasoned professional in the lighting design industry, currently serving as Principal at The Lighting Practice since January 2001, where responsibilities include cultivating business relationships and managing commercial renovation and new construction projects across various sectors in the Texas market and nationally. Jered has also held multiple roles within the firm, including Associate Principal, Project Manager, and Lighting Designer. Additionally, Jered contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University from 2002 to 2015, teaching courses in lighting design and electrical distribution to architecture and construction management students. Jered's foundational education was completed at Penn State University, where a BAE in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Lighting/Electrical was obtained.
