William G. Ellis

William G. Ellis is Senior Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer of Lightstone. Mr. Ellis oversees and manages the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions. Prior to joining Lightstone in 2010, Mr. Ellis served in various senior-level roles, including Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Prime Retail, a Baltimore-based owner and operator of a nationwide portfolio of upscale outlet centers. Prime Retail was formerly owned by Lightstone from 2003 through 2010. Additionally, Mr. Ellis previously held positions at Alexander & Alexander Services, MNC Financial, and Ernst & Young. Mr. Ellis has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Loyola University and is licensed as a certified public accountant in Maryland.
