Alannah Williams

Alannah Williams is currently a Post Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Physics Department at Lancaster University since October 2023, and has also been actively involved in music journalism and photography. Roles include being the Head Music Editor, Music Journalist, and Photographer at The Indiependent since May 2021, and a Music Journalist at When The Horn Blows since February 2022. Alannah is a contributing writer for The Line of Best Fit and has founded and works as Editor-In-Chief for Music Is To Blame, specializing in music events and public relations. Educational background includes a PhD in Physics from Lancaster University starting in October 2023, an MEarthSci in Earth and Planetary Sciences from The University of Manchester, and A-Levels in Physics, Chemistry, and Photography from Oldham Sixth Form College. Prior experience includes leadership at Co-op and service as a student representative at The University of Manchester.
