Fayaz Ghiasy

Fayaz Ghiasy has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Fayaz started their professional journey as an Assistant II in the SASC Math Department, where they led instructional and administrative tasks for Algebra and Calculus courses. Additionally, they led study groups and provided assistance to students with their homework and difficult concepts.

Following this, Fayaz worked as a Graphic User Interface Designer at Eaton for a brief period. Fayaz then joined CA Technologies as an Associate Services Consultant, where they developed a strong foundation in Service Assurance concepts and participated in hands-on implementation of CA Technologies solutions. Fayaz later progressed to the role of Services Consultant and, eventually, Senior Services Consultant at the same organization.

In 2017, Fayaz joined Joyent as a Senior Product Engineer and contributed to the development of products in this role. Subsequently, they joined Interview Accelerator as a part-time instructor, where they imparted knowledge and guidance to students.

Currently, Fayaz holds a key position at The Linux Foundation as a Product Architect. Fayaz recently transitioned from their previous role as Director of Engineering, where they showcased their leadership and management skills.

From 2005 to 2010, Fayaz Ghiasy attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
