Joan Reyero

Joan Reyero serves as the Vice President of Platform Technology at The Linux Foundation, beginning in April 2024. Prior to this role, Joan co-founded and served as Chief Technology Officer at crowd.dev, focusing on developer community building from June 2021 to April 2024. Joan's experience includes positions as Software Engineering Lead at GREATERSKIES LTD, where responsibilities involved designing user-targeted landing pages and utilizing Nuxt.js for web development from September 2018 to May 2021. In addition, a research internship in BioRobotics at The University of Edinburgh involved developing a teleportation ROS node under esteemed supervision in June 2020. Previous experience includes code review work for Udacity's Nanodegree programs and a short tenure as a software developer at Xaar. Joan holds a BSc in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh and completed the International Baccalaureate at Impington Village College.
