Kassidy Campbell Barratt has extensive work experience in education and instructional design. Kassidy Campbell began their career in 2015 as an Elementary School Teacher at New Hanover County Schools, where they worked until August 2021. During that time, Kassidy demonstrated their passion for education, particularly in teaching English as a second language. From August 2016 to June 2020, they served as an ESL Teacher at VIPKID. Currently, Kassidy is employed as an Instructional Designer at The Linux Foundation, a role they started in August 2021.
Kassidy Campbell Barratt has a diverse education history. In 2011-2012, they attended Cape Fear Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts degree with a major in Art/Art Studies. Following that, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued their Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Recently, in 2020-2022, they completed their Master of Science degree in Instructional Design & Technology, again at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
In addition to their formal education, Kassidy has also obtained two additional certifications. In 2016, they received an AIG Certification from New Hanover County Schools, and in 2022, they completed the Online Teaching and Learning Certification program offered by the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
