Joe Schafran has been in the industry since 2012, starting their career as a Warehouse Manager at Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters Brooklyn NY. In 2019, they became a Senior Project Manager at The Lionesque Group. In this role, Joe oversees the design, bidding and construction processes for new cafes and production facilities. This includes developing schedules and budgets, hiring designers, approving construction documents, negotiating vendor contracts, construction administration, and managing internal teams. Joe has also managed a myriad of other small projects related to graphic design and branding, product development, data analysis and more.
Joe Schafran attended the University of Arizona from 2006 to 2009. Joe then attended the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Joe is currently attending Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they are pursuing an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Interior Design.
