Paul Crankshaw has extensive experience in the automotive industry, beginning with their role as a Design and Development Engineer at Caterham Cars Ltd in 2002. Paul then moved to Ford Motor Company in 2005, where they worked as a Component Engineer. In 2006, they joined Multimatic Inc. as a Suspension Design Engineer, and then moved to Jaguar Land Rover in 2008, where they worked as a Chassis Integration Engineer. In 2009, they joined Rolls-Royce as a Design Engineer, and then returned to HORIBA MIRA in 2010, where they worked as a Senior Systems Integration Engineer and a Senior Automotive Mechatronics Engineer. In 2017, they took on the role of Senior ADAS Transmission System Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, and in 2019, they joined HORIBA MIRA as a Senior Functional Safety Engineer. Most recently, they began working as a Senior Design Engineer at The Little Car Company in 2022.
Paul Crankshaw completed a Thick sandwich BEng Bachelors degree with honours in Mechanical Engineering at Brunel University London between 1997 and 2001. Paul then went on to receive a Masters Degree in Engineering Management & Formula Student from Brunel University London in 2002.
