Akita Evans M.D.

Akita Evans MD, MPH, serves as a Family Physician and Medical Director at Health-E Medical Center since May 2019 and holds additional roles as Clinical Site Director and Clinical Assistant Professor at Ross University School of Medicine since June 2016. Evans also collaborates as a physician at The Little Clinic and previously acted as a Medical Advisor for the Clinical Skills Evaluation Collaboration until May 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Family Physician at Anwan Wellness Center, Oakhurst Medical Center, and Mattapan Community Health Center. Evans completed a Family Medicine residency at Carolinas Healthcare System. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and an MD from Brown Medical School, supplemented by a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Tougaloo College.
