Jennifer DeCotiis, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Jennifer currently serves as a Senior Scientific Director at Lockwood since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at HealthSTAR Fusion Group, starting as an Associate Medical Director in January 2019 and subsequently holding the positions of Medical Director and Senior Medical Director until February 2022. Before joining HealthSTAR Fusion Group, they worked at Precept Medical Communications as a Scientific Associate, where they developed disease state and branded medical education materials. Jennifer was also responsible for providing strategic guidance and attending advisory boards during their tenure from August 2017 to December 2018. Jennifer obtained their Ph.D. from Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, where they conducted research on viral reactivation and mentored students. Jennifer also gained research experience as a Student Researcher at Seton Hall University, where they worked on the cloning and characterization of specific genes related to Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus.

Jennifer DeCotiis, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from Seton Hall University between the years 2006 and 2010. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences, General from Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences from 2010 to 2017. In July 2016, they also obtained a certification in Foundations of Programming: Fundamentals from Lynda.com.
