Director Scientific And Regulatory Affairs at PDA - Parenteral Drug Association

Josh Eaton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Josh is currently working as the Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs at the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), where they direct and manages volunteer-driven project activities and provides input into the scientific business activities and strategy of the organization. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Director of Scientific Affairs at PDA, where they facilitated the work of volunteer teams and supported program planning committees.

Before joining PDA, Josh worked as a Project Manager II at SAIC, where they managed project costs and developed budgets for infectious disease model studies. Josh also initiated and reviewed contractual agreements between USAMRIID and research partners.

Josh has also held the position of Director of Product Management at Columbia Biosciences, where they were responsible for project costs and potential profitability for new product opportunities. Josh coordinated with production staff and maintained relationships with customers and distributors.

In addition, Josh has experience working as an Evening Facility Coordinator at Loyola University Maryland and as a Research Associate/Product Development at Martek Biosciences. At Martek Biosciences, they were also the Safety Committee Chairman, leading the committee to facilitate training and emergency response programs.

Early in their career, Josh served as a Rural Community Development Volunteer in the US Peace Corps, where they assisted with grant writing and teaching kindergarten. Josh also worked as a Research Pharmacologist at Nova Screen Biosciences, conducting ligand binding assays and compiling data for client reports. Their career started as a Research Assistant at New England Medical Center, where they conducted microbiological experiments and assisted in the design of follow-up assays.

Throughout their career, Josh has demonstrated strong project management, coordination, and leadership skills. Josh has also made notable achievements such as drafting standards development policies, achieving ANSI standards development organization status, and co-authoring a book comparing regulatory guidance documents.

Josh Eaton attended St. Mary's College of Maryland from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Josh later pursued further education at Georgetown University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2005, earning a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry & Biotechnology.
