Terri Schochet Ph.D., Cmpp

Terri Schochet, PhD, CMPP has a strong background in scientific communications and medical writing. Terri currently serves as the Senior Scientific Director Team Lead at Lockwood, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Terri worked as a Senior Scientific Director at Lockwood from March 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Lockwood, Terri worked at AlphaBioCom, starting in October 2013. Terri held multiple positions at AlphaBioCom, including VP, Scientific Director from April 2020 to March 2021, Associate Scientific Director from October 2017 to April 2020, Senior Scientific Communications Manager from February 2016 to October 2017, and Scientific Communications Manager from October 2013 to February 2016. At AlphaBioCom, they were responsible for generating scientific content, managing editorial assignments, and providing scientific expertise. Terri also managed junior medical writing staff and assisted in their professional development.

Terri's earlier work experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from July 2009 to October 2013 and at the Medical University of South Carolina from July 2006 to July 2009.

Terri Schochet, PhD, CMPP has a strong educational background in the field of Neuroscience and Biology. Terri earned their Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1999 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Carleton College, earning a B.A. in Biology from 1991 to 1995.

In addition to their academic achievements, Terri Schochet has obtained a certification as a Certified Medical Publication Professional™ from the ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals) in October 2016.
