Chris York has a diverse work experience in the service and hospitality industry. Chris began their career as a Bartender at Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, Inc. in 2004 and worked there until 2007. Chris then worked as a Shift Manager at The Rossi Bar and Grill from 2007 to 2008. Chris went on to become a Bartender at Classic Victorys from 2008 to 2009. In 2010, they joined Bar Louie as a Bar Manager and stayed there until 2013. Chris then worked at Wired Willys as a Manager from 2013 to 2018. Following that, they served as an Operations Manager at Freds Texas Cafe. Currently, Chris is working as the Head of Service Operations at The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, a position they have held since 2019.
Chris York attended Columbus State Community College from 2004 to 2005, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Additionally, Chris obtained the TABC certification from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission in November 2015, and the ServSafe certification from the Servsafe National Restaurant Association in January 2013.
