Arber Kokoneshi

Associate Executive Director, Finance at The Long Island Home

Arber Kokoneshi is the Associate Executive Director of Finance at The Long Island Home. Arber has been with the company since September 2007 and in their current position since March 2014. Prior to that, they were an accountant with Eupen Cable USA from April 2005 to August 2007.

Arber is responsible for preparing month-end and year-end financial statements, assisting with the preparation of cost reports, performing account analysis and bank reconciliation, preparing quarterly financial presentations to the board of directors and senior management, monitoring all grant-related financial activities and preparing all state and county-required financial reports. Arber also assists in the preparation of the budget and creates and arranges internal financial reports for senior management.

Arber received their bachelor’s degree in accounting from Queens College in 2004. Arber is a certified public accountant in New York State.

Arber Kokoneshi has a Masters in Accounting from the State University of New York College at Old Westbury and a BS in Accounting from Florida Metropolitan University. Arber is also certified by the New York State Board for Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Arber Kokoneshi reports to Carolyn Sweetapple, Executive Director. They work with Maahila Singh - Associate Executive Director, Human Resources, Joanne Bentson - Chief Nursing Executive & Associate Executive Director, and Brian Pritchard - Associate Executive Director, Ambulatory & Addiction Services.
