Avery Bond

Avery Bond is an experienced professional in people operations and creative content management, currently serving as the Director of People Operations at The Looma Project since May 2019. In this role, Avery focuses on enhancing team satisfaction and promoting the company’s mission of rehumanizing grocery through storytelling that connects consumers with the narratives behind their products. Prior to this position, Avery served as the Creative Content Manager for The Nature Conservancy, where responsibilities included content creation and management for various platforms and oversight of key member communications. Additional experience includes roles in philanthropy and communications at Reality Ministries, a communications fellowship, and internships in marketing and public relations at Durham Performing Arts Center and Sony Online Entertainment. Avery holds a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, with a focus on psychology, cultural anthropology, and documentary studies.
