Russell Etchen

Russell Etchen currently serves as the Director of Retail Operations at MOCA | The Museum of Contemporary Art since October 2022. With extensive experience in the arts sector, Russell has been a Book Designer for the Mark Flood Archive since 2007 and previously worked as Store Manager for Arcana: Books On The Arts from January 2020 to September 2022, and as Bookstore Director at the MAURICE AND PAUL MARCIANO ART FOUNDATION from March 2017 to January 2020. Additionally, Russell contributed to the book design for the Mark Flood "Gratest Hits" exhibition catalog at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston in 2015-2016 and served as a Buyer at Domy from 2005 to 2013. Russell holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Communications from the University of Houston, earned from 1999 to 2002.
