Evelyn Tao

Evelyn Tao currently serves as the Director of Design and Development at The Loyalist since June 2023. In addition, Evelyn is the Founder of Not Impressed, a position held since September 2016. Previous experience includes roles as a Designer at Edie Parker from January 2022 to February 2023 and at Rachel Comey from April 2018 to February 2021, where responsibilities included knitwear design and fabric and trim development. Earlier positions included serving as an Associate Designer and R&D at Tibi, a Trim Developer at Alexander Wang Inc., and an Assistant Designer at Elizabeth and James. Evelyn began a career in design as a Crewcuts Girls Design Assistant at J.Crew in 2013. Evelyn holds a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School.
