Christina Sturgeon is a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer at The Luminosity Lab and Chief Technology Officer at Verdantt Fresh, Christina has led innovative projects including the design of regolith anchoring systems for the NASA Big Idea Challenge and the development of a conceptual prototype resulting in a provisional patent. Christina also holds leadership roles as President of SWE ASU, where initiatives for professional development and inclusivity have garnered multiple awards. Previous internships include roles at Solar Turbines and Johnson Matthey, focusing on manufacturing processes and engineering solutions.
