Debbie Young

Debbie Young has over 30 years of experience in maternal and child health education, serving as the President of the International Childbirth Education Association since 1987 and holding multiple certifications in childbirth education, including Lamaze and ICEA. Currently, Debbie works as the Customer Relations Manager at InJoy Health Education, leveraging a bachelor's degree in Health Promotion: Women's Health and a master's degree in Leadership to support customer needs. Additionally, as a podcast show host for INCAST, Debbie engages with leaders in maternal-child health, while also educating families as a childbirth and breastfeeding educator at UCHealth and a Doula Trainer at BabyMatters. Debbie's leadership experience includes roles at DONA International, and Debbie has developed a private practice as a Certified Lactation Counselor. The journey began with the creation of the MotherCare Network, focusing on supporting families during the childbearing year.
