Sara Stathas

Sara Stathas has been working as a freelance photographer since 2002, specializing in editorial, commercial, travel, and documentary photography. Sara has represented by various agencies, including Found Artists, Wonderful Machine, and The Luupe, and has extensive experience in collaborating with advertising agencies, magazines, and brands. Sara also worked as a stringer/photographer for Thomson Reuters and as a freelance team photographer for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club, Inc. In addition, they served as an adjunct faculty member at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and worked as a sales executive at WIN Initiative for a brief period.

Sara Stathas began their education in 1993 at the Cleveland Institute of Art, where they pursued a degree in painting. Sara focused on painting, drawing, and design during their time there, which lasted until 1998. In 1996, they briefly attended Parsons School of Design - The New School for a Contemporary Art Seminar, painting, and photography. Then, in 1998, Sara Stathas enrolled in the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and completed their degree in painting in 1999. Their studies at this institution included painting, drawing, and photography.

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that Sara obtained a certification from the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) in November 2022.
