Rishi Suri

Rishi Suri has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Rishi started their career at OSRAM Lighting SA as a Project Management Intern in 1996. Rishi then worked as a Management Trainee at Blue Dart from 1997 to 1998.

In 2000, Rishi joined NAHAR INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES LIMITED as a Senior Manager for International Business Development. Rishi played a key role in the start-up phase of Nahar Fabrics and later focused on exploring the international market until 2003.

Next, Rishi worked at Arvind Limited as a Senior Manager in Garment Exports. Rishi was responsible for business development and merchandising of woven garments for mid-level brands and retailers in the US. Rishi held this position until 2004.

From 2004 to 2005, Rishi was employed at Brandix as the Country Manager India in Bangalore, and then as Assistant General Manager in Colombo. Rishi was responsible for business development in the Indian and European markets, including setting up Brandix Textiles' legal entity in India.

In 2007, Rishi joined Pangea Fabrics Italy as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Rishi played a crucial role in establishing the company and was involved in project management.

Rishi's work experience continued at The LYCRA Company, where they held various roles. From 2009 to 2016, they served as the Regional Business Head for South Asia, leading the growth of premium fiber technologies. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as the Global Business Development Director for a new segment, contributing to profitable growth. Currently, since October 2020, Rishi serves as the Business Development Director for South Asia at The LYCRA Company, focusing on strategic business development and value chain management between South Asia and Western markets.

Overall, Rishi Suri has a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic planning, team leadership, and market expansion across different roles and companies.

Rishi Suri completed their primary and secondary education at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1979 to 1992, where they obtained their AISSE degree in the field of Science. Rishi then pursued a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Economics at Delhi University from 1992 to 1995. Following this, they enrolled in IPM and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from 1995 to 1997.
