Elisabetta Polito

Elisabetta Polito is an experienced professional in the fields of fashion technology and costume design. Currently serving as the Fashion Technology Program Director and Costume Design Teacher at Boston Arts Academy since October 2014, Polito has also contributed as a Costume Designer for The Lyric Stage Company of Boston since January 2012 and has been self-employed in costume design since 2006. Past roles include Costume Designer for SpeakEasy Stage Company and Costume History Lecturer at Boston University. Polito's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy from Boston University, a Master of Education from Fitchburg State University, a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from Brandeis University, and two Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from Concordia University, specializing in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technical Theatre and Design Art.
